These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pulse, a desktop application for Windows, and the Pulse website at pulse-ops.app (collectively, the "Service"). By purchasing, installing, or using Pulse, you agree to these Terms.
Upon purchase, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pulse on your personal devices. "Perpetual" means the version of Pulse you have installed will continue to work indefinitely — it will not be remotely disabled or expire.
Your license includes:
After your one-year update period, you may optionally renew to receive another year of updates. If you choose not to renew, you retain full use of the last version released during your update period.
You agree not to:
Pulse is sold as a one-time purchase through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. All payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax collection is handled by Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing Pulse, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.
Prices are subject to change at any time, but changes will not affect existing license holders. Your license is tied to the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
We want you to be happy with Pulse. If you are unsatisfied, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at support@pulse-ops.app. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may take several business days to appear. Upon refund, your license will be deactivated.
During your one-year update period, you will receive all updates to Pulse at no additional cost. Updates are delivered automatically through the built-in updater. We provide support on a best-effort basis via email. We are a small team and will do our best to respond promptly, but we do not guarantee specific response times.
Pulse is provided as a desktop application that runs locally on your machine. We may release updates that add, modify, or remove features over time. We reserve the right to discontinue development of Pulse at any time — however, your installed version will continue to function as a standalone desktop application regardless.
Pulse, including its source code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Pulse and its creator. Your license grants you the right to use the software, not ownership of it. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved.
Pulse is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that Pulse will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all hardware or software configurations. You use Pulse at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Pulse or its creator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the software.
Our total liability for any claim related to Pulse shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
We may terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms (e.g., redistributing the software or circumventing license protections). Upon termination, you must uninstall all copies of Pulse. Termination does not entitle you to a refund if the breach is substantiated.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Pulse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes to license terms will not retroactively apply to existing license holders.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at support@pulse-ops.app.
